Learning with all senses - Our learning workshops
At our daycare center, we offer children a wide range of opportunities to discover the world through exploration, play and with all their senses. Our learning workshopswhich take place weekly and are met with great enthusiasm by the children.
Workshop work enables children to learn actively according to their individual stage of development, to act independently and to pursue their own interests. The focus is on curiosity, the joy of doing and the strengthening of basic skills.
Our learning workshops at a glance:
Letter workshop
Language comes alive here! In this workshop, the children explore letters, sounds and first characters in a variety of ways. They playfully discover their first words, experiment with rhymes or create their own little books. The aim is to promote phonological awareness, expand vocabulary and develop a love of language.
Number workshop
In the Number Workshop, children learn about quantities, numbers and initial mathematical relationships - with everyday materials, movement games or small mathematical challenges. They count, sort, compare, weigh or measure and learn how exciting mathematics can be.
Experimental workshop
Little researchers are in demand in this workshop! Using simple experiments, the children explore scientific phenomena and make assumptions: What floats, what sinks? Why does a rainbow form? How does a magnet work? The aim is to develop an initial understanding of science and to encourage an inquiring attitude.
Creative workshop
In the creative workshop, children can paint, design, craft, glue, cut or build - using traditional materials or things from nature. They express their thoughts, feelings and ideas through free artistic activity. In addition to promoting fine motor skills, the main focus here is on strengthening their imagination and their own means of expression.
Movement workshop
Movement is a central need and an important driver for the healthy development of children. In the movement workshop, the children have the opportunity to try out a variety of activities: They climb, balance, roll, jump, dance or build movement landscapes. Motor skills, body awareness and coordination are developed through play.
The children discover their bodies, develop self-confidence in their abilities and experience how much fun movement can be. Whether indoors in the movement room or outdoors in the garden - the movement workshop invites them to move freely, safely and with fun.
Our learning workshops take place regularly every week and are an integral part of our everyday educational routine. The children experience them as special highlights - with lots of fun, independent activity and plenty of spirit of discovery. They learn in a playful and sustainable way - and that is precisely our goal.
